Earlier this month, we received a deeply touching letter from a matron working on the Neuro Critical Unit — a heartfelt reminder of just how much impact your support is having.
In her own words:
"I just wanted to write and thank you ever so much for the incredibly thoughtful donations you kindly brought in for both patients and staff yesterday. We honestly can't thank you enough for your generosity."
Thanks to your ongoing contributions, Charlotte’s Room was recently replenished with fresh supplies — from toiletries to little comforts that bring calm and dignity to patients and families during the hardest moments. One line in the letter summed it up beautifully:
“The whole unit is smelling absolutely delightful.”
These small touches might seem simple, but they mean the world to those living through critical illness. For staff working under immense pressure, and for families holding vigil by a bedside, Charlotte’s Room offers a rare and vital pause — a place of comfort, connection, and calm.
The matron ended with a moving message:
“We’re truly touched and honoured to be part of the legacy you're building in Charlotte's name.”
We’re incredibly proud to be building that legacy with you. Every donation, every gesture of kindness, and every word of encouragement is helping us bring more warmth into cold clinical spaces — turning hospital corridors into spaces of humanity.
Thank you for helping us keep Charlotte’s memory alive through the compassion you show others.
