Charlotte’s Rooms was created in loving memory of Charlotte, who spent time in intensive care after an unexpected health event.

The experience showed us just how important it is for families to have a place to breathe, gather their thoughts, and stay close to the person they love.

Charlotte’s kindness, strength and sense of calm inspire everything we do. Through this work, her warmth continues to reach others when they need it most.

What We Do

We work with hospitals and clinical teams to improve or completely redesign their family rooms — transforming them from sparse, clinical spaces into warm, welcoming environments.

Our rooms are designed to offer:

● Comfort: Soft furnishings, gentle lighting and seating that gives families room to rest.
● Privacy: A space to process emotions, have conversations, or simply be together.
● Dignity: A more human environment at a time when vulnerability is at its highest.
●Support: A reminder that families matter too during critical illness.

Every room is created with thoughtful design, practical touches and insight from hospital teams who understand what families truly need.
